2012-06-07 STRYDENBURG, NORTHERN CAPE, SOUTH AFRICA

Living in the Northern Cape since 1995, I had no idea of the beauty hiding everywhere in this sometimes harsh landscapes.  My definition of beauty was the green mountains, waterfalls and general green surroundings of Eastern Transvaal.  My heart will always belong to that part of the country, but for now I'm committed on looking and finding the beauty around me and sharing it with the world.

Starting with Strydenburg.  This is a very small town approx. 150km South of Kimberley on the N12.  Well worth the extra 5min if you travel through it and not around.  By Riana Jacobs
